Mental Math
There is a Knowledge Festival. There is a math part and a Superword. We have playdown's in our class to see who's going. They pick 4 people from each class. In the math one, my best friend made it. If someone is sick, me or Hannah gets to go. We were only one point off. We haven't done the spelling one yet. It goes from grade 2-11. That doesn't mean grade 2's play against grade 11's. Each grade plays against kids from that grade, from other schools. I have a hockey game on the day of the Festival, so I probably wouldn't have been able to go anyway.

Noah, you and Hannah are so smart in school. It's good to have your priorities straight though. There is no way you could go to a math contest if the Thunder was playing!! Did you know that David Brine has won the academic award for the Mooseheads and still is their best player on the ice? In a lot of ways you remind me of him. You both are willing to work hard to get the job done.
Love you, Papa.

Great job, Noah! You are so good at math. Although it would be fun to be in the Knowledge festival, I bet you'll have more fun that day playing hockey. Isn't it great that you still play even though it's spring!
